YEP Bootcamp Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Fair, clear terms protect everyone. Please read them before you accept your offer.

1. Who we are

YEP Bootcamp is offered by LifeShine Learning Solutions LLP (LLPIN ACL-4897), registered office: Building No. 7/543, Kudassanad P.O., Mavelikkara, Alappuzha – 689 512, Kerala, India (“LifeShine”, “we”). These terms apply to every learner (“you”) from the moment you accept your offer or pay any fee.

2. Eligibility and admission

You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Admission is by selection, and each batch takes at most 6 learners. If we decline or withdraw an offer before the bootcamp starts, we refund everything you have paid.

3. Delivery

The bootcamp is delivered online, Monday to Saturday. Sundays and public holidays are off. We may adjust schedules, facilitators, guest speakers or content to keep the bootcamp current, with at least 7 days’ notice of any significant change. Core outcomes will not be reduced.

4. Fees and payment

The fee is ₹32,000 per month plus applicable GST, paid in advance before each month starts. If a payment is more than 7 days late, we may pause your access after written notice until it is paid. Scholarships are confirmed in writing and depend on continued attendance and conduct.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • 7 or more days before the start date: full refund, less a ₹600 processing fee.
  • Less than 7 days before the start date: 90% of the amount paid.
  • Within the first 7 days of the bootcamp: the first month’s fee, less ₹1,250 (plus GST) for each programme day you attended.
  • After the first 7 days: the current month’s fee is not refundable. Later months are not charged once you withdraw in writing.
  • If we cancel or postpone a bootcamp: you choose between a full refund of unused fees and a seat in the next bootcamp.
  • Timing: refunds are paid within 14 working days to the original payment method.

6. Attendance, graduation and rejoining

  • To graduate, you must attend at least 85% of live session days, and never miss more than 3 consecutive session days (a full week of sessions). Documented emergencies (medical, bereavement or similar) are the only exception, and you must report them as soon as reasonably possible.
  • If you don’t meet these rules, you will not graduate. You will not receive the Certificate of Completion, the Project Completion Letter, the interview and internship guarantee (clause 7) or career support (clause 8). Fees already paid for past months are not refunded. You may continue attending the current bootcamp without these benefits, or stop; if you stop, later months are not charged. [CONFIRM this clause]
  • Rejoining: you may rejoin once, in any YEP Bootcamp starting within 12 months of your first joining date, at 60% off that bootcamp’s fee, subject to seat availability.

7. Interview and internship guarantee

  • Who qualifies: if you graduate and remain in good standing under the Code of Conduct, LifeShine guarantees you (a) at least one interview and (b) an internship offer of at least 3 months, both with vel venture studio or one of its partner companies.
  • Terms of the offer: it is made within 60 days of graduation and is remote. Any stipend is set by the host and stated in the offer letter.
  • Your part: accept the offer within 7 days. One internship offer satisfies this guarantee. If you decline it, or leave the internship without good cause, no further offer is due.
  • The internship itself is governed by a separate agreement between you and the host.
  • If LifeShine cannot arrange an offer within 60 days: [REMEDY TO CONFIRM, e.g. a LifeShine-hosted internship, or a refund of ₹X].
  • What is not guaranteed: a job, a pre-placement offer or a salary.

8. Placement and career support

For 6 months after graduation, we put you forward for job openings across our partner network and help with introductions, interview preparation and portfolio reviews. Hiring decisions are made only by employers, and any job is a separate agreement between you and the employer. We do not charge learners any placement fee.

9. Client projects and certificates

Client briefs may require you to sign a confidentiality agreement. LifeShine issues a Project Completion Letter describing your client project. Only the host company issues an internship certificate, and only after you complete an internship with it.

10. Intellectual property

  • Course materials (slides, recordings, templates, exercises) belong to LifeShine or its licensors. You may use them for your own learning only, and must not share, resell or republish them.
  • Your concept: if a project’s concept is yours, the project is yours.
  • Our concept: if the concept comes from LifeShine, vel venture studio or a partner company, the project belongs to that party. By accepting these terms in writing at enrolment, you assign to that party your rights in the work you create on it.
  • Team projects belong jointly to the team, unless the team agrees otherwise in writing.
  • Your portfolio: you may show any project in your portfolio, as far as any confidentiality agreement allows.
  • Our marketing: we may showcase projects with credit to you. We use your name, photo or testimonial only with your separate written consent.

11. Recordings and personal data

Live sessions may be recorded for learners to review. Recordings are deleted 6 months after the bootcamp ends. We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Conduct

You agree to follow the YEP Bootcamp Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy. Breaches may lead to a warning, suspension or removal after a fair hearing, with refunds as in clause 5.

13. In-person meetups

Meetups are optional. You arrange your own travel. Where we provide accommodation or meals, we tell you the details in advance. You must submit the Bootcamper Personal Preferences & Alternative Contacts form before attending.

14. Equipment and accounts

You need your own laptop and a reliable internet connection. Third-party services used in the bootcamp (e.g. GitHub, Supabase, Vercel, Expo) have their own terms. Free tiers are enough for the course; any paid tier you choose is at your own cost. Apps built in the bootcamp may be published through LifeShine’s App Store and Google Play developer accounts at no charge; the listing can be transferred to the project’s owner under clause 10 on request.

15. Wellbeing

Your support contact helps you keep learning. They are not a counselling or medical service, and they will point you to professional help if you need it.

16. Liability

We deliver the bootcamp with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid for the period concerned. We are not liable for third-party platform outages, employers’ hiring decisions, or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with 15 days’ notice. Changes will not reduce what you have already paid for.

18. Grievances

Contact our Grievance Officer, Ms. Aby V, at support@lifeshinelearning.com. Her phone number is shared on induction day. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.

19. Resolving disputes

  • First step: raise any dispute with the Grievance Officer. Both sides will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days.
  • Mediation: if it isn’t settled, either side may propose mediation, which can be held online. Proposing or joining mediation does not waive anyone’s rights.
  • Courts: subject to the next point, the courts at Mavelikkara and Alappuzha district, Kerala, have exclusive jurisdiction, and these terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Your consumer rights: nothing in these terms limits your right to approach a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
