YEP Bootcamp Code of Conduct

Last updated: 11 October 2026

YEP Bootcamp works only if everyone can learn, build and make mistakes safely. This Code applies to every learner, mentor, facilitator, guest and staff member: in live sessions, team channels, meetups, client projects and anywhere you represent YEP Bootcamp.

What we expect

  • Respect. Treat everyone with courtesy, whatever their background, gender, religion, caste, language, region, disability, age or experience.
  • Show up. Attend live sessions on time, camera on unless agreed otherwise, and tell your team early if you’ll be away.
  • Own your work. Submit your own work. Use AI tools wherever the bootcamp encourages them, and say how you used them.
  • Give useful feedback. Critique the work, not the person. Accept feedback without taking it personally.
  • Protect others’ information. Keep client briefs, teammates’ data and session recordings confidential. Don’t record, screenshot or share sessions or chats without permission.
  • Use tools responsibly. No piracy, no malware, no misuse of shared accounts or credits, no attempts to access systems you’re not authorised to use.
  • Represent YEP well. With partner companies and clients, behave as a professional would at work.
  • Look after yourself and others. Keep the no-work-after-22:00 rule in sprints, and raise concerns about a teammate’s wellbeing with your support contact.

Not acceptable

  • Harassment of any kind (see the Anti-Harassment Policy).
  • Discriminatory, abusive or threatening language or content.
  • Plagiarism, or submitting others’ work or AI output as your own without disclosure.
  • Sharing course materials, recordings or client information outside the bootcamp.
  • Coming to meetups under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Retaliating against anyone who raises a concern.

If something goes wrong

  • Raise it. Tell your support contact, your mentor, or the Grievance Officer (Ms. Aby V, support@lifeshinelearning.com). For anything about harassment, follow the Anti-Harassment Policy.
  • Fair hearing. We’ll hear from everyone involved before deciding anything.
  • Proportionate response. Depending on seriousness: a conversation, a written warning, suspension from sessions or projects, or removal from the bootcamp. Refunds follow the Terms & Conditions.
  • Appeal. You may appeal a decision in writing within 7 days to [a senior LifeShine partner not involved in the case].

By enrolling, you agree to follow this Code.
