Fair, clear terms protect everyone. Please read them before you accept your offer.
1. Who we are
Founder OS is offered by LifeShine Learning Solutions LLP (LLPIN ACL-4897), registered office: Building No. 7/543, Kudassanad P.O., Mavelikkara, Alappuzha – 689 512, Kerala, India (“LifeShine”, “we”). These terms apply to every member (“you”) from the moment you accept your offer or pay any fee.
2. Eligibility and admission
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Admission is by selection, and each cohort takes at most 8 founders. Applications close 10 days before the cohort starts. If we decline or withdraw an offer before the start, we refund everything you have paid.
3. Cohorts and delivery
Cohort 01 (weekday) runs for 12 weeks, Monday to Friday, with in-room sessions in Bengaluru and live online, followed by a 12-week follow-on. Cohort 02 (weekend) runs for 16 weeks online, with an optional in-person Saturday each month. Public holidays are off. We may adjust schedules, venues, facilitators, mentors or content to keep the programme current, with at least 7 days’ notice of any significant change. Core outcomes will not be reduced.
4. Fees and payment
Cohort 01: ₹74,500 plus applicable GST. Cohort 02: ₹59,500 plus applicable GST. Pay in full before the start, or choose two equal instalments, which cost about 5% more in total: Cohort 01, 2 × ₹39,000 plus GST; Cohort 02, 2 × ₹31,250 plus GST. The first instalment is due on accepting your offer and the second before Week 5. GST applies to each instalment. If a payment is more than 7 days late, we may pause your access after written notice until it is paid. Access support is confirmed in writing and depends on continued attendance and conduct.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- 7 or more days before the start: full refund, less a ₹600 processing fee.
- Less than 7 days before the start: 90% of the amount paid.
- Within the first 7 days of the cohort: the amount paid, less ₹1,250 (plus GST) for each programme day you attended.
- After the first 7 days: the instalment already paid is not refundable. A second instalment is not charged if you withdraw in writing before it falls due.
- If we cancel or postpone a cohort: you choose between a full refund of unused fees and a seat in the next cohort.
- Timing: refunds are paid within 14 working days to the original payment method.
6. Attendance and completion
To complete, you must attend at least 85% of live sessions, reach both gates (with mentor clinics where needed) and present on Demo Day. Documented emergencies are considered case by case. If you don’t complete, you receive no Certificate of Completion and, on Cohort 01, no follow-on support. You may rejoin once, in any Founder OS cohort starting within 12 months, at 60% off that cohort’s fee, subject to seats.
7. What we don’t promise
Founder OS does not guarantee funding, investment, revenue, customers, registrations or government approvals. Introductions to investors, banks or partners are made at our discretion, and their decisions are theirs alone.
8. Your venture is yours
LifeShine takes no equity, fee share or rights in your venture or the work you create for it. Course materials (slides, recordings, templates, exercises) belong to LifeShine or its licensors; use them for your own venture and learning only, and don’t share, resell or republish them. We showcase your venture only with your consent.
9. Confidentiality
What other members share about their ventures in sessions, pods and channels is confidential. Don’t use or disclose it without their written agreement.
10. Your employment contract (Cohort 02)
You are responsible for checking your employment contract for moonlighting, conflict-of-interest and IP clauses, and for building only on personal devices and time. LifeShine is not a party to any dispute with your employer.
11. Recordings and personal data
Sessions may be recorded for members to review; recordings are deleted 6 months after the cohort ends. We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Conduct
You agree to follow the Founder OS Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy. Breaches may lead to a warning, suspension or removal after a fair hearing, with refunds as in clause 5.
13. In-person days
In-room sessions and meetups are subject to the venue’s rules. You arrange your own travel unless access support covers it. Submit the Cohort Member Information & Contact Form before your first in-person day.
14. Equipment and tools
You need your own laptop and a reliable internet connection. Free tiers of the tools we use are enough; any paid tier you choose is at your own cost. Third-party services have their own terms.
15. Wellbeing
Founder OS is a learning programme, not counselling, therapy or medical care. We will point you to professional help if you need it.
16. Liability
We deliver Founder OS with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid. We are not liable for business losses, third-party decisions, platform outages or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms with 15 days’ notice. Changes will not reduce what you have already paid for.
18. Grievances
Contact our Grievance Officer, Ms. Aby V, at support@lifeshinelearning.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
19. Resolving disputes
Raise any dispute with the Grievance Officer first; both sides will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. Either side may then propose mediation, which can be held online. Subject to your consumer rights, the courts at Mavelikkara and Alappuzha district have exclusive jurisdiction, and these terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing here limits your right to approach a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
